HOW IS A TUMMY TUCK PERFORMED?
In most tummy tuck surgeries, a horizontal incision is made just above the pubic hairline. The amount of excess skin to be removed will dictate the length of the incision. The skin is dissected, and the excess fat is removed. The abdominal muscles are tightened, and the belly button will be re-positioned.

HOW LONG DOES RECOVERY FROM PLASTIC SURGERY USUALLY TAKE?
Recovery times will vary depending upon the exact procedure, but in general all of our procedures are outpatient meaning you will go home the same day as your surgery. We typically recommend 2-3 weeks of light activity until returning to full activity including work and exercise.
